A Literary Festival will grace the plaza site in September. Scheduled to coincide with the Swiss Heritage Festival on September 8, this event will feature a coffee house and literary workshops. Various authors and other literary presenters have been invited to celebrate the power of words and highlight the importance of literature in our society. A 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. time frame will allow visitors the opportunity to leisurely stroll from vendor to vendor or take in the presentations under the main tent. Elementary, jr high and high school age writers will appreciate the opportunity to enter creative writing contests in two different age categories. Dr. Dennis Hensley of Taylor University will be the keynote speaker.

Pets and Parade. Bring your pet to the Plaza to parade them around the promenade. Line up on Harrison near the Ramp enterence to the plaza. Prizes will be awarded in five catagories. Click here for more information.
Congratulations Jenna Young on submitting the winning drawing for the T-shirt contest. Click here to see the drawing. One hundred shirts will be carry this design and be awarded tot he first 100 on the plaza to be claimed and will have the opportunity to tye-dye the shirts right there!
Chalk Art Contest will be another great time. For $1 you may purchase your sidewalk block and we will give you five chalk pieces to create your Tower Tribute. Prizes will be awarded for the top three Tributes.

"Quilt Garden Dedication" Pre-Dedication Music
7:00p.m.Pink Promenade at 8:15p.m.
The promenade will begin and end under the clock tower portico.
Registered walkers may choose to compete in the:
Pink Promenade (7 ½ times around the entire plaza, which equals one mile)
Canton Children’s Crawl (For children up to age 10; 26 times around the Splash Pad)
5K Muensterberg März (21 times around the entire plaza)
All proceeds will go toward breast cancer causes and maintenance of the quilt gardens
